HELP ME?!

My parents have agreed to buy me a DSLR for my birthday (yay!). I know I've posted about this before but it would be great if some of you could suggest some cameras for me to look at.
I guess you can call me a beginner photographer, but I know the basics about photography and SLR (sort of). So I'm looking for a camera that's for beginners(ish) but it should also be something I can use for a few years.
